Over two days, a breathtaking herd of life-size buffalo puppets will gather in New York City. Part spectacle, part ritual, Return of the Buffalo: Tatanka Owe Akupi invites people to join the herd as they roam, graze, and run wild through downtown Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan, encountering live music, poetry, ceremonies, and performances along the way. Inspired by the buffalo’s extraordinary return—from near extinction to repopulation—Return of the Buffalo ushers in a new period of healing.
Return of the Buffalo is one of the largest and most unique public art spectacles taking place in the U.S. this year, created by Amir Nizar Zuabi in partnership with Elders from Lenape and Lakota Tribes.

The Texas Shakespeare Festival, located at Kilgore College, is a professional theater producing a summer of rotating repertory. This season Alice played Emma in Emma, Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Player Queen in Hamlet.
Wyoming Shakespeare Festival Company
Spring Tour 2026
A two-actor tour of "Shakespeare's Greatest Scenes" in local schools, libraries, and community centers throughout central Wyoming. The 60-minute performance will include excerpts from A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hamlet, As You Like It, Romeo & Juliet, and The Taming of the Shrew. Each performance will be followed by a 15-minute talkback with the actors, as well as the option for a heightened language workshop. School Visit Program - Fall 2025
Started over five decades ago, the School Visit Program is the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s oldest and largest outreach program. It has reached tens of thousands of students in its history and the north star has remained true: we believe experiencing live performance is vital and transformative. Our teams of two teaching artists present shows as well as teach workshops, ensuring students connect intellectually and physically with our work. Presenting high-impact performance and embodied and meaningful workshops opens students’ imaginations and empowers them to use and understand text through a variety of tools.
